The building “Stuwerstrasse Nr. 35” in Vienna is located in a calm side street with many trees near the city center of Vienna, and near the famous “Prater,” which is not only the famous entertainment park, but also the so called “Green Prater” with many large meadows and high old trees near the Danube.
The apartment is very well tied up to the public transport system. The subway U2, station “Messe-Prater” you got in only 2 minutes walking distance from the apartment. The U2 takes you directly to the center of the city within 5 minutes.
You live in a calm and bright, two-room apartment, 55 m², with view on a tree on the 4th floor with elevator.
The accommodation is comfortably furnished, equipped for two to five persons with double bed, and two extra beds, table, chairs, cable TV and internet, a comfortable cosy corner, and shower. The comfortably furnished kitchen with hot plate, refrigerator and microwave invites to self supply and cooking, if you like.
All important implements such as table-ware, coffee machine, toaster etc. are present. There is also a washing machine and a drying rack, an iron and ironboard. Fresh bedlinen and towels are made available.
In case you come by car you can rent a place in the garage for an extra fee of 6.- Euro per day.

 

The location of the apartments in Vienna in the Stuwerstraße 35 could not be better. Being right next to the fair grounds, it is also very close to the city center. It is possible to get to the Stephansdom at the Stephansplatz via public transportation in only about 10 minutes.

To be able to fully explore the town center, it probably takes more than a few days, because there are far more than just a handfull sights available for viewing. However, the classic places of interest can be seen within a day. While being already at the Stephansdom, one should absolutely visit the old cathedral. One ride with the elevator on top of it reveals the famous „Pummerin“, the bell of the Stephansdom. Moreover, a wonderful view unfolds before the visitors, as they look at the town center from above.

Adjacent to the Stephansplatz is the Kärntnerstraße, the most luxurious shopping street in Vienna, which leads right to the Wiener Staatsoper at the Karlsplatz. During the 5 to 10 minute walk, you will pass a lot of bars and restaurants, which offer excelent austrian and international cuisine. The Hofburg, home of the lippizans, is also not very far away from here and the Heldenplatz and Burggarten allow visitors to spend some quiet moments, if they want to.

On the opposite side of the Ringstraße, the Nature Historic Museum and the Museum of Art History in Vienna can be spotted. The Parliament, Burgtheater or the Rathaus (city hall) are also close by. In winter, one can experience the fascination of the Christkindlmarkt at the Freyung and on the way back to the Stephansplatz, you will pass several churches, statues and monuments.

Without being exposed to traffic noise, the apartments in Vienna in the Stuwerstraße are nonetheless located very close to the center of the city. From here, it is possible to reach almost every important location within 30 minutes. 

A supermarket as well as various other restaurants and shops are in the immediate vincinity of the holiday flat in Vienna in the Stuwerstraße. There is also a subway station (U2) right next to the apartment and a few tram lines, which lead into the center of the city via the Praterstern and Schwedenplatz, but they can also take you to the danube. In Vienna, the subways travel around-the-clock, so you will still be able to reach home even after a long night.
